Sexual assault referral centres offer medical, practical and emotional support to anyone who has been sexually assaulted or raped. They have specially trained pediatrician / Forensic Nurse Examiners (FNE) and support workers to care for you.

In an emergency you should always call 999. If you are unable to safely talk to the operator answering your 999 call, press 55 on your handset to let them know you are there.

Millfield House Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) offers a range of services to give you the best care possible. If you are aged 18 or over you can visit Millfield House for a medical examination following a recent rape or assault at any time, you do not need to report to the police. Support, counselling and advice for anyone of any gender. For anyone under 18 there is a dedicated service – East Midlands Children and Young People’s Sexual Assault Service delivered in partnership by Nottingham University Hospital Trust with Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. www.emcypsas.co.uk
